Dina Asher-Smith is among the 10 nominees for the female world athlete of the year.
British hopeful Asher-Smith won European Championship gold over 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.
She is the fastest women in the world this year over 100m and 200m, and also claimed a relay gold at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze in the 200m.
Asher-Smith, 22, will go up against a glittering array of global talent for the coveted award in Monaco on December 4.
Beatrice Chepkoech, Sifan Hassan, Caterine Ibarguen, Mariya Lasitskene, Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Sandra Perkovic, Caster Semenya, Nafissatou Thiam and Anita Wlodarczyk are the other nominees.
The IAAF Council's vote counts for 50 percent of the result while the IAAF family votes and public votes count for 25 percent each.
