Mo Farah's decision to train in Europe at the moment rather than return to the Oregon Project has been explained by Alberto Salazar.

The fact that Farah was training in Europe rather than heading to his usual US training base - run by Salazar - led to speculation that the British athlete wanted to put distance between himself and his coach following BBC allegations of doping.
But Salazar has hit back at those claims, explaining that Farah is following his standard training pattern at this time of the season.
"Mo is on a different training cycle, as he always is at this time of year,” said Salazar.
"So I send him to Europe to get accustomed to the time zone. This is how we’ve always done it.
"This winter Barry [Fudge, a UK Athletics official who reports Farah’s progress to Salazar] administered my workouts to Mo in Ethiopia for six weeks, and Mo broke the world two-mile record.”
