NBA notebook: 76ers sign veteran Belinelli

The Philadelphia 76ers added veteran swingman Marco Belinelli to their mix on Monday, the team announced.

Belinelli, 31, recently received a buyout from the Atlanta Hawks after
averaging 11.4 points and 2.0 assists in 52 games. He was shooting 37.2
percent from 3-point range and also sports a career-high 92.7 success rate
from the free-throw line.
Belinelli has career averages of 9.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in
696 games over 10-plus NBA seasons. He has made 945 3-pointers with a 37.7
percentage. The 76ers are Belinelli's ninth team.
--Golden State forward Draymond Green will miss the Warriors' Monday night
game against the Phoenix Suns with a sprained left index finger, the team
announced.
Green, 27, injured the finger Saturday during Golden State's 122-105 win over
the Spurs, in which he played 35 minutes and tallied 17 points, 11 assists and
eight rebounds. Third-year forward Kevon Looney is expected to start in
Green's place.
Monday will be Green's eighth missed game this season due to a variety of
minor ailments. Golden State has yet to lose in his absence.
--The Suns signed guard Josh Gray to a second 10-day contract.
Gray, 24, was initially signed by the team on Feb. 2. He has averaged 6.8
points, 3.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 17.5 minutes in four games
with Phoenix.
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Gray was originally called up from the Northern
Arizona Suns of the NBA G League. In 31 G League games, he averaged 17.9
points, 6.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
