Giannis Antetokounmpo returned from injury and Damian Lillard produced a “phenomenal” defensive display as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Brooklyn Nets 115-108 in the NBA.
Lillard netted 13 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter and came up with two late steals.
Antetokounmpo scored 21 points with nine rebounds and five assists as he returned after missing two games with injury, including the defeat to Eastern Conference leaders the Boston Celtics.
The game was tied at 96-96 with five minutes remaining before Lillard twice stole the ball to set up three-point plays, and then netted a three-pointer himself.
"Dame, defensively, was phenomenal - all game," said Milwaukee head coach Doc Rivers.
"He's a very competitive guy and you could see that tonight.
"I like how we kind of gathered ourselves. They took the lead, we came back and got stops. We didn't play well the beginning of the third.
"The first half, the ball was hopping. It was beautiful. And then we kind of went back to that hold-the-ball, no-movement style. We had to play ourselves through that."
Nikola Jokic scored his 22nd triple-double of the season as the Denver Nuggets won 113-100 against the New York Knicks.
Jokic scored 30 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists while Michael Porter Jr. made 13 of 16 shots to score 31 points.
The defending champions, who avenged a 38-point loss to the Knicks in January, are level with the Oklahoma City Thunder at the top of the Western Conference.
"I think we all collectively realise we're not going to be able to turn it on in the playoffs so we're trying to get our rhythm, get our flow before then," said Porter.
"We felt like we owed them from the last game in New York.”
Luka Doncic starred in a 113-97 win for the Dallas Mavericks over the Utah Jazz.
Doncic scored 34 points with nine rebounds and eight assists as the Mavericks won their third straight game.
The Orlando Magic won their fifth consecutive match with Paolo Banchero scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for his second career triple-double in a 121-106 victory over New Orleans Pelicans.
The Phoenix Suns beat the Atlanta Hawks 128-115.
Devin Booker led the scoring with 30 points and Eric Gordon added 21 off the bench.
