The LA Clippers are on their longest winning streak since a 10-game stretch in the 2015/16 season and they had James Harden to thank for it on Monday night in their victory over the Indiana Pacers. Harden became the 10th player in franchise history to produce over eight threes in a single game. Elsewhere, the New York Knicks beat the Los Angeles Lakers despite a fine display from LeBron James.

James Harden had the most successful night of his LA Clippers career so far after recording a season-best of 35 points in their 151-127 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
The Clippers extended their winning streak to eight games with Harden producing a career-high 21 points in just the fourth quarter while also producing four three-pointers in a row.
After the feat, Harden was in such confident mood that he produced a snow angel celebration on the court.
"It was very entertaining," Harden's team-mate Kawhi Leonard, who chipped in with 28 points, said about Harden after the match.
"It was like I paid for some seats tonight. And I'm happy to be on this side of him being hot. Seen it a lot being on the opposing team, but tonight, it was amazing to watch."
"That's vintage. That's vintage James right there," Paul George, who scored 27 points on the night, told reporters.
"I remember the days of having to match up against that. Once he gets going, he's the best at creating space and creating off the dribble. Watching it on his side now, it's fun to watch."
Harden got off to a difficult start at the Clippers after they traded away a significant package to the Philadelphia 76ers to bring the 2018 MVP in at the start of November.
Over the last three games, Harden has registered 36 assists and is averaging 9.5 during the Clippers' winning run. Five of their last six victories have come in double digits.
Coach Tyronn Lue said Harden showed why the organisation invested so much to bring him in after their emphatic win over the Pacers.
"That's why we brought him here," he said. "To score the basketball and make plays for other guys, make it easier for Kawhi and PG [George].
"Some nights he takes five shots, some nights he takes 15, 16 shots. And all he cares about is the win."
In a busy night of NBA action, the Los Angeles Lakers fell to a 109-114 defeat to New York Knicks as they overcame LeBron James' 109th career triple-double.
The Cleveland Cavaliers beat Houston Rockets 135-130 while the Chicago Bulls overcame the 76ers 108-104.
The Atlanta Hawks beat Detroit Pistons 130-124 and the Minnesota Timberwolves continued their great campaign with a 112-108 win at the Miami Heat.
The reigning NBA champions Denver Nuggets produced a fine display to overcome the Dallas Mavericks 130-104.
Elsewhere, the Toronto Raptors beat Charlotte Hornets 114-99 while the Memphis Grizzlies' poor campaign went on with a 116-97 loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Utah Jazz saw off the Brooklyn Nets 125-108 while the Sacramento Kings beat the Washington Wizards 143-131.
