Dallas Wings secured back-to-back wins in the WNBA with victory against Los Angeles Sparks. Arike Ogunbowale and Monique Billings were standout performers once again for the Wings. Minnesota Lynx have a 4-1 record for the season after a dominant victory over Atlanta Dream, where Kayla McBride starred with 31 points.

Arike Ogunbowale continued her form as one of the WNBA’s leading scorers with a 20 point haul to help Dallas Wings to a narrow 84-83 win against the Los Angeles Sparks.
It was a second win in two days for the Wings, whose five starters all recorded double figures in the match.
Monique Billings only joined the team eight days ago, but she tallied her second double-double since arriving, with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Maddy Siegrist scored 15, Teaira McCowan added 12 points and Sevgi Uzun got a career-high 11 points.
The momentum of the match swung throughout, with a Sparks flurry in the fourth quarter putting them into a 78-76 lead with little over four minutes to play.
Heading into the closing stages, Siegrist’s layup gave the Wings a three point advantage, before Ogunbowale added another point with 16 seconds to go.
A three-pointer on the buzzer proved not enough for the Sparks, as they fell to their second defeat of the weekend.
Speaking after the match, Billings said: “It was just a team effort. I’m proud of our fight. I don’t care about the numbers. We got the W and that’s all that matters to me.”
Minnesota Lynx ended their gruelling run of three matches in four days with a 92-79 win against Atlanta Dream.
On the back of beating one of the title favourites in New York Liberty just 24 hours earlier, Lynx dominated the first three quarters and had built a strong enough lead to fend off an Atlanta fightback in the final quarter.
Kayla McBride starred with 31 points, which included a run of eight straight points.
