Anthony Joshua admitted he hopes to fight the winner of Oleksandr Usyk v Tyson Fury in the future after he knocked out Francis Ngannou. AJ was at his devastating best to beat the former UFC champion in just two rounds as he continues his march towards another title shot. He could be made to wait, though, with Usyk and Fury scheduled to fight twice to declare a unified champion.

Anthony Joshua set his sights on facing the winner of Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury after he steamrolled Francis Ngannou in two rounds.
The Brit was in devastating form in Saudi Arabia, flooring the former UFC champion twice before landing the final devastating knockout blow.
He did what Fury could not and now hopes his resurgence will see him challenge for all the belts against either his fellow Brit or the fighter who inflicted crushing back-to-back defeats on him.
“I’m still learning, I’m still pushing, I’m just hungry,” a coy Joshua told DAZN. “Eddie Hearn and my team will shape my future. I'm going back to my cage and when they let me out, I'll fight again.”
Asked if it was his hope that he would take on either Usyk or Fury for the unified world title, he added: “Yes it is.”
When Joshua lost to Usyk for a second successive time in August 2022, there were doubts over his future.
However, he credited trainer Ben Davison for helping to revive his career and go on a run of four straight wins.
More than just the results, the manner of the performances have caught the eye. Back seems to be the old AJ, who used his power to overwhelm opponents.
Mixed with his ever-improving boxing skills, promoter Eddie Hearn believes it is a combination that sets Joshua apart from anyone else in the heavyweight division.
“I'm so proud of him because there was a huge amount of pressure,” Hearn said. “If we won this fight then he would fight the winner of Fury v Usyk. You're looking at the No. 1 heavyweight in the world.
“On this form, there is no man that can beat him. Tyson Fury please beat Usyk because you will get the biggest fight in the history of the sport.
“As a fighter, he's an inspiration to young people. What I said would happen, happened. He destroyed Francis Ngannou. He's a beast and I cannot wait for him to beat Tyson Fury.”
Tyson Fury's undisputed world heavyweight championship fight with Oleksandr Usyk will be shown live on TNT Sports Box Office.
