"We've approached this fight a little bit more ruthlessly," said Groves. "We always want spite, and always want to take people out, but never more so than this.
"Maybe that's because this fight feels like it's more important than any other fight. I certainly can't afford to lose this fight. You'll see a different side to me on Saturday night. A side that fight fans will enjoy. It's all action, we mean business and we plan to bring the house down, and send out a message to everyone else in the division.
"You look at the result on BoxRec, it's two losses, two knockout defeats, but look between the lines, and I'm here. It wasn't the arrival I'd hoped for at Wembley. It would have been a perfect arrival, but boxing, especially for me sometimes times, doesn't always go the way you always intended, but there's an inevitability that I will become world champion. We want to take the quickest route, not the easiest route, and this is, for us, the best route.
"I can't wait to take Rebrasse out at the weekend and show him he's in a level that he can't compete with."
Rebrasse spoke through an interpreter, thanking Sauerland for making the fight, and not revealing too much about his plan to deal with Groves, who is surely one of the best punchers in the division.
‘’I prefer to do my talking in the ring. But what I will say is that I’m here to defend my titles and beat Groves on his home turf. He is a good fighter but I have trained very hard. He is just the next step for me on my way to the top.’’
