Tyson Fury says he is in the "prime of my life" as he shattered speculation he might be about to retire. The heavyweight boxer has had to postpone his unification fight with Oleksandr Usyk due to an eye injury picked up in sparring. Some questioned the legitimacy of the issue, leading to speculation the 35-year-old was set to call it a day, but Fury says that could not be further from the truth.

Tyson Fury has rebuffed any thoughts he might be set to retire from boxing, after unveiling a five-fight plan that includes taking on Anthony Joshua.
There has been mounting speculation from some critics that the heavyweight might be ready to call it a day, after the legitimacy of an eye injury was questioned.
The 35-year-old picked up the problem during sparring for his historic unification clash with Oleksandr Usyk, which was due to take place on February 17.
However, the event has now been postponed until May 18 because the issue needed what Queensberry Promotions described as "significant stitching".
Fury is now recovering ahead of the rescheduled date, which he has revealed might be the first of two fights between the pair.
"I keep hearing talk of people saying I should retire or I’m going to retire soon or whatever," he said on social media, displaying the cut above his right eye.
"I ain’t retiring – I’ve got two fights with Usyk for the undisputed, twice."
Fury currently holds the WBC heavyweight title, while his Ukrainian opponent will be defending the WBA, IBF and WBO belts.
The winner will become the first undisputed fighter in the division since Lennox Lewis in 2000.
However, Fury insists he has no intention of hanging up his gloves even after taking on Usyk, instead targeting an all-British showdown with Anthony Joshua.
A fight between the pair has been hotly anticipated for many years, but, as of yet, has not materialised.
The 35-year-old says that is a contest he is intent on making happen, though, as he unveiled a plan for after the 'Ring of Fire' event in Riyadh.
"I’m going to fight AJ [Anthony Joshua]," he continued, "at least once, maybe twice, if there’s a rematch – if he wants one after the first battering I give him.
"Then I’m going to fight Ngannou again. That’s just the start.
"There’s five fights for you to whet your appetite. I ain’t going nowhere; I’m 35-years-old and in the prime of my life.”
