Josh Brookes crashed in Free Practice 2 ahead of the opening British Superbikes race of the season at Donington Park.
The Australian, who has switched to McAms Yamaha this season, following his second place in the championship last campaign, collided with Danny Buchan. Both riders appeared OK in tough conditions that led to BeWiser Ducati rider Glenn Irwin crashing during Free Practice 1.
Leon Haslam of JG Speedfit Kawasaki topped the second free practice session, with a time of 1.39.690, and was followed by Christian Iddon (Tyco BMW Motorrad) and James Ellison (Anvil Hire Tag Yamaha).
The first race has been moved forward to Easter Sunday at 4.30pm, due to the threat of rain on Monday.
The third free practice session will be at 10.50 on Sunday and will last only 20 minutes. There will then be a half an hour qualifying session that will begin at 11.20.
