Zanardi to 'start' this year's German 500

Alex Zanardi, who had both legs amputated after a horrific crash in a CART race at the Lausitzring, will return to the German track for this year's edition of the German 500 event. Lausitzring manager Hans-Joerg Fischer said that the 35-year-old Italian had agreed to signal the start of the race on September 21.
