India and their fans will still be reeling from defeat in the World Cup final on Sunday, but they got back in the saddle with victory over Australia in the opening contest of their five-match T20 series in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. In total, 417 runs were scored, as India secured victory off the final ball of the match. Josh Inglis made a century for Australia.

Four days on from being beaten by Australia in the World Cup final, India secured a semblance of revenge with victory in the opening T20 of the series.
Eyebrows were raised when the two sides were put together in a series so soon after a punishing World Cup campaign, but players who competed through the event put on starring displays to show no signs of a hangover.
In what was a high-scoring affair, Suryakumar Yadav - in his first match as captain of India - produced a brilliant knock of 80 from 41 balls as the hosts won by two wickets off the final ball.
After asking Australia to bat first, Yadav saw his bowlers put to the sword by Steven Smith and Josh Inglis - two players who helped secure the World Cup on Sunday.
Smith made a 41-ball 52 before being run out when slipping in the act of taking a single.
Inglis - who worked his way into the Australia World Cup team - is looking to play his way into the T20 side and he did his cause no harm with a brilliant century.
He struck eight sixes and 11 fours in a dominant 110 off 50 balls as Australia posted 208 for 3 from their 20 overs.
While a target of over 10 an over looked imposing on paper, the pitch at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium was conducive to batting.
India made an awful start to their chase as Ruturaj Gaikwad was run out without facing a ball, but Yashasvi Jaiswal (21 off 8 balls) and Ishan Kishan (58 off 39 balls) gave momentum to the innings.
That was continued by Yadav, and his 80 off 42 balls broke the back of the chase.
He departed to a brilliant diving catch from Aaron Hardie with 13 needed and it got a little nervy, but Rinku Singh (22 off 14 balls) launched the final ball of the innings into the crowd to seal the win - albeit Sean Abbott was called for a no-ball to render the six meaningless.
The second match of the five-game series will take place in Guwahati on Sunday - live on TNT Sports.
