Russian cross-country skier Evgeniy Belov claimed the first World Cup victory of his career with a win in an entertaining 15km race in Switzerland.
Racing in Davos, Belov found himself seven seconds behind going into the final lap but produced a stunning end to finish in 35:52.5, nine tenths of a second ahead of France's Maurice Manificat.
After topping the podium, Belov commented: "Thank you to my team for preparing the competition well. I had very good skis, all the service was excellent.
"It felt hard in the first lap but in the second I was told that I was not very far. I gave everything in the last lap. I'm really happy to have won."
Manificat will no doubt have been pleased to get on to the podium on his return to World Cup action after an injury-afflicted start to his season.
Norway's Martin Johnsrud Sundby finished third, while Russia's Denis Spitsov took fourth.
