The Italian outfit have sent a strong team to Liguria, including the likes of Alessandro Pettachi and Damiano Cunego for the one-day road race which takes place on Saturday.
"We'll be one of the protagonists due to the fact that all of our riders could win," said Piovani.
"(Daniele) Pietropolli and (Leonardo) Bertangolli had an outstanding Giro della Provincia di Reggio Calabria and they improved their fitness while training on Etna.

"Cunego, with his quality, will be a protagonist because he'll race with a battling approach.
"(Diego) Ulissi, (Francesco) Gavazzi and (Przemyslaw) Niemiec like the course, which suits their style.
"There will be also (Daniele) Righi with his usual experience and Petacchi, at his season debut after his period out due to bronchial asthma."
