Geraint Thomas has said he would 'love' to compete at another Olympic Games, but only if he feels he would be good enough to earn a medal. The 37-year-old has competed at four Olympics so far, winning gold medals in the track team pursuit at London 2012 and Rio 2016. He has not medalled at the Games since switching to the road competitions, but is aiming to change that this summer.

British cyclist Geraint Thomas has suggested he will only compete at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games if he is in with a chance of a medal.
The 37-year-old has represented Team GB at four Olympics so far, earning two gold medals.
He competed on the track at Beijing 2008 and London 2012, winning the team pursuit at both Games. Thomas then switched disciplines for Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, competing in the road race and individual time trial, but he was unable to finish on the podium.
He has often shared a desire to compete at a fifth Olympic Games this summer, but told The Observer that he was not interested in just making up the numbers.
"I'd love to do one more Olympics, but I don't want to go and just get another tracksuit," he said.
"I want to be good enough to be in with a shout of a medal. I've got four tracksuits already - I don't need another one."

The men's time trial at Paris 2024 is scheduled for July 27, followed by the road race on August 3.
Thomas is also set to compete in the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France this summer, with the latter taking place just before the start of the Games.
He only raced in the Giro d'Italia last year, narrowly missing out on victory after letting his lead slip to Primoz Roglic in the time trial on the penultimate day.
"I wanted to go back to the Giro after last year and the Tour is the Tour," the Ineos Grenadiers rider said. "In the back of my mind, I'd always thought: 'Sod it, why don't I just try to do both...?'"
Tadej Pogacar will be the cyclist to beat this summer, with Thomas previously admitting that all eyes will be on the UAE Team Emirates rider at the Giro.
"I'm not one to play mind games," he added. "I'll be doing my thing - try to stay consistent, good and strong all the way through.
"He's a racer and he just loves winning. When he retires, he's going to be one of the greatest of all time."
