Soler's future still uncer

The Colombian sustained multiple injuries when falling on stage six of the race in June and has not been back on a bike since.

The 28-year-old collided with a spectator and was left with a broken ankle and a fractured skull which resulted in blood on the brain. He was put into an artificial coma in order that doctors could operate, his lungs had to be drained and he needed artificial help to aid breathing.

The injuries were life-threatening injuries, and Soler said: "The only thing that interests me is my recovery and only then will we see what will come after that."

Six months have passed since the crash, and Soler has only just been able to return home to Colombia.

“It’s a really wonderful moment for me to be back in my country. Although I was born again in Spain, this has been a moment that I’ve long awaited,” he said.

Soler added his plan is to continue his recuperation in Bogata until May next year when he will return to Pamplona, where Movistar are based, for further assessment on his progress.
