After a rest day to recover from the Mont-Ventoux, riders begin stage 15--the longest of the 2002 Tour--at 10.15cet in the town of Vaison-la-Romaine. Travelling east across the mountains of Haute Provence, riders encounter no less than seven climbs. After 68.5 km, the Col de Prémol is the first big ascent of the day.
