Omega name team

Classics master Philippe Gilbert and Jurgen van den Broeck are the two standout names in the Omega Pharma-Lotto team for the Tour de France.

Gilbert has had a stellar season, winning three times in the Ardennes Classics earlier in the year and recording 13 victories for his team in 2011 alone.

But the more serious charge for the yellow jersey will be led by van den Broeck, who came fifth in the overall standings in the last Tour.

The sprints will be led by Andre Griepel, who will face a stiff challenge from former team-mate Mark Cavendish for stage wins and the green jersey.

Griepel is one of three Germans amongst six home riders in the Belgium-based team.

The Tour de France runs from July 2-24.
