The infamous yellow jersey is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, and Panini are set to honour the centenary with a sticker album for the first time in the Tour de France’s history.
As reported by French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, Italian company Panini – famed for their football sticker albums – will be trying their hand at a cycling album this year.
The finer details are yet to be revealed, but the album is set to feature 2018 champion Geraint Thomas on the front cover, as revealed by Le JDD.
So rather than offloading your surplus of Harry Kanes for an elusive Radja Nainggolan in your 2018 World Cup album, sticker fans can look forward to a spring of swapping cyclists.
The reports give hope that the album will be available for avid collectors outside of France, so we at Eurosport UK are crossing our fingers it makes it across the Channel – our pocket money is ready in waiting.
