Rodriguez sprints to win

American Fred Rodriguez emerged from a massive sprint to win the sixth stage of the Tour de Georgia while Slovenian Janez Brajkovic retained the overall lead.
Rodriguez clocked a time of four hours four minutes after hitting the front with 200 metres left in the 182.9-km leg from Lake Lanier Island to Stone Mountain.
Juan Jose Haedo of Argentina finished second and American George Hincapie third, in the same time as the winner.
Brajkovic was down in 12th place after suffering a flat tyre early in the leg.
He retained his 12-second advantage over American Christian Vande Velde with one stage remaining.
David Canada of Spain was third overall, trailing by 3:04.
The 1,059-km event ends on Sunday with the 107.5-km seventh stage in Atlanta.
