Astana’s Alexey Lutsenko won Stage 4 of the Tour of Turkey and took leadership of the General Classification.
Lutsenko, 26, was part of a big group at the end but he timed his sprint perfectly to claim victory.
He beat out Diego Ulissi and Eduard Prades Reverter as they couldn’t live with the pace set by Lutsenko.
The victory sees the Kazakh champion move to the top of the General Classification, knocking Irishman Sam Bennett off the top.
Lutsenko’s lead is only four seconds ahead of Ulissi, with bonus seconds up for grabs on the remaining two stages.
