Ben O'Connor (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) clung on up the final ascent to win Stage 3 at the UAE Tour as Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates) finished second to take the overall lead. But there was disappointing news for Vine's team-mate, Adam Yates, who withdrew after a heavy crash.
