Van Hummel to debut at TDU

The sprinter signed for the Dutch side after six seasons with Skil-Shimano and will take his WorldTour bow at the race around Adelaide early in the new year.

"The preparation for the new season is already in full swing, and that means getting back in the rhythm with power tests, hours on the bike, the gym and getting to know my new team-mates," Van Hummel said on his personal website.

"During this race (Tour Down Under) I will expect to work for results together with the guys from the new team.

"We have a good formula for success and it is giving me a huge energy boost."
