Lopez climbs to stage four victory – and overall lead

Colombia's Miguel Angel Lopez showed his climbing prowess to complete victory on stage four of the Tour of Catalunya – and take overall lead in the race.

The Astana rider completed the 150.3km in the Pyrenees to relieve Thomas De Gendt of the GC top position.
Gregor Mühlberger of Bora-Hansgrohe’s finished second ahead of Movistar’s Marc Soler in another thrilling finish on the mountain.
Britain's Adam Yates finished in fifth place to lie second overall, 14 seconds behind new leader Lopez.
“The fight will continue, and I think I am in a good condition,” said Lopez.
"My legs felt good. It gives me a lot of confidence, we started the season very well in Colombia but then in Paris-Nice missed out on a great victory."
