Suzuka 8 Hours: increased broadcast in 198 countries

The 39th edition of the Suzuka 8 Hours will kick off in Japan on Sunday 31 July. The race will be flagged off at 11.30am local time (GMT+9) and is scheduled to finish shortly after nightfall, at 7.30pm. Japanese broadcaster BS12 TV will provide full live coverage of the legendary race, and worldwide coverage is set to increase in 2016.

Eurosport2 will broadcast full live coverage of the Suzuka 8 Hours from 4.15am to 12.45am CET on Sunday, from the race start procedure all the way through to the podium ceremony. Eurosport Asia will also be showing live coverage of the entire race in 17 countries.
A 26-minute Pit Stop segment will be aired on Eurosport 1 at 11pm on Tuesday 3 August.
Full coverage of the race will also be available on Eurosport Player, which can be accessed on all of Eurosport’s websites.
FIM EWC promoter Eurosport Events has also organized coverage on channels other than Eurosport. In France, L’Equipe 21 will provide a recap of the race start at 6am CET on Sunday followed by live coverage until 10am, then from 10.30am through to the finish and the podium ceremony at 12.45am.
A 45-minute summary will also be aired on L'Equipe 21 in France, Fox Sport in Asia, and Mav TV in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
The Pit Stop segment will be shown on Garage TV in Spain and on two Discovery channels: Turbo in South America, and DTX in Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
