Manchester United recorded a straightforward 4-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion to see themselves safely through to the semi-finals of the Women’s FA Cup.
Millie Turner opened the scoring on eight minutes for the visitors, before Nikita Parris doubled United’s lead nine minutes later.
Lucia Garcia sent The Red Devils in at half-time three goals to the good, before Lisa Naalsund rounded off the scoring on 59 minutes to send Marc Skinner’s side into the last four.
United put two Women’s Super League games without a win behind them to return to winning ways at Broadfield Stadium, dominating possession against the side that they had drawn 2-2 with in the league rendition of this fixture in November.
Skinner’s visitors beat Brighton 2-0 in the reverse in February, as Parris netted a brace, and the winger was the thorn in The Seagulls’ side once more as she played a starring role here.
United went ahead inside eight minutes in Crawley as Millie Turner rose above everybody to nod a Katie Zelem delivery into the far corner, before Parris lashed inside Sophie Baggaley’s near post to make it two.
Melvine Malard beat Baggaley but not the woodwork as she stabbed against the post on the stroke of half-time, but Garcia, the right-winger, was there to add a third for the visitors and put the game beyond doubt.
Mallard was denied in the early exchanges of the second period by a spirited Baggaley, but the Frenchwoman turned provider for the fourth, as she set up Naalsund to rattle home and send United into the last four.

Rantala at the double as Leicester beat Liverpool

Jutta Rantala's double helped Leicester City beat Liverpool 2-0 and send The Foxes into the semi-finals for the first time.
The Finland midfielder opened the scoring on the quarter-hour, converting the rebound after Janice Cayman's curler had struck a post.
She then doubled her tally on 63 minutes, finishing off a classic counter-attack with a strike that went in off the crossbar.
The defeat leaves Liverpool still searching for their first win at home since November.
