Kenya have sacked soccer coach Twahir Muhiddin and his two assistants after only five months in charge following the 5-1 defeat to Morocco in a World Cup qualifier. Kenya Football Federation (KFF) chairman Alfred Sambu said on Wednesday that Muhiddin's replacements would be named within 24 hours.

"It was a bad result and the coaches are to blame. There was an element of incompetence and indiscipline," said Sambu.
Kenya lost to leaders Morocco on February 9 in Rabat and are third in the African zone Group Five table, three points adrift but with a game in hand. They play Botswana in Nairobi in March.
Muhiddin was appointed in October after Jacob Mulee resigned. He guided the team to a 2-1 win over Guinea but the team then finished a fourth in last year's Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia.
