Barcelona are still keen to sign Lyon forward Ada Hegerberg, according to reports. The Spanish side tried to lure the former Ballon d'Or winner to France last summer, but could not agree a deal with Lyon, and the club are expected to continue their pursuit for the Norway striker. Hegerberg, who is continuing her comeback from injury, is thought to be the highest paid player in women's football.

Six-time Champions League winner Ada Hegerberg reportedly remains a target for Barcelona, despite two rejected bids for the Norwegian star.
The Lyon striker’s contract runs out in a year, and according to the BBC she has no plans to leave the European champions.
Barcelona tried to sign Hegerberg last summer, but could not agree a deal with Lyon.
The 27-year-old is continuing her comeback having spent six months on the sidelines with a leg injury.
Hegerberg is believed to be the highest paid player in women's football, and is expected to feature for Norway at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand this summer.
She has had a glittering career since she joined the French champions in 2014.
Hegerberg is the all-time top goalscorer in the Champions League with 58 goals, a seven-time French champion, and has won the French Cup five times, all on top of her six European medals.
In 2018, she won the first edition of the Ballon d'Or Feminin, fighting off competition from Denmark’s Pernille Harder and Germany’s Dzsenifer Marozsan.
After her Ballon d'Or win, Hegerberg had a 20-month injury lay-off from January 2020 following an anterior cruciate ligament injury, eventually returning in October 2021.
The summer transfer window in women’s football is open in France from 1 July - 20 September, Spain from 3 July - 1 September, and England from 9 June - 31 August.
Fellow Lyon player and France international, Amandine Henry, is not expected to extend her stay in her homeland and is reported to be joining American side Angel City in the National Women's Soccer League.
