Bayern Munich have warned Rangers they have no chance of luring Bastian Schweinsteiger to Scotland next summer. Incoming Gers boss Paul Le Guen is reportedly keen on the Germany midfielder, but Bayern counterpart Felix Magath has said his player is staying put.
"Have Rangers found a pot of gold? It is unthinkable that we'd sell Schweinsteiger. You never say never, but we don't want to sell," said Magath.
"In any case, I don't think a move to Glasgow Rangers would be right for him. It's true that Le Guen has been here many times covering Bayern for television and in this time he has become a fan."
