Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge revealed talks over a new contract with striker Miroslav Klose continue to stall over the length of the proposed deal.
Germany international Klose is out of contract in the summer, but is holding out for a fresh two-year deal.
Bayern, however, have currently only offered him another year at the club.
Rummenigge told the Munchener Merkur: "Miroslav Klose is on a deal to expire this summer and I am virtually unable to predict if we are about to reach an agreement with him.
"It's definitely about the duration of a new deal. It would be very good to reach this agreement. I would enjoy this."
Klose has been linked with moves to Serie A champions Milan and La Liga club Valencia in the event of his four-year association with the Bundesliga giants coming to an end.
