Raul scores twice

Deniz Mujic had given Bayern the lead after just six minutes with a cool finish after being set up by Jose Sosa but five minutes before half-time Raul equalised from close range after Edu's shot rebounded off the post.

Edu then capped a fine counter-attack move two minutes later to fire Schalke in front before half-time.

Raul superbly chipped home a third goal soon after the break despite having three players around him.

The two teams will meet again on August 7 in the DFB Supercup final in what is expected to be a more competitive contest.
