Bah set for six months out

The 27-year-old only made his first appearance for the club in the 4-1 defeat to Leverkusen last Friday and it does not look like he is to make another appearance till well after Christmas.

Augsburg managing director Andreas Rettig said of the incident: "It is bitter news for Dawda, both he and us had imagined a different start to his time here."

The club described the Gambian's injury as "severe bone and soft tissue damage" to his left knee.
