Netherlands international Robben underwent groin surgery back in early October to correct a long-standing problem that had limited him to just four Bundesliga appearances this season.

The procedure also forced him out of his national team's final two Euro 2012 qualifiers, and Heynckes admits he is not sure when the 27-year-old will be fit again for club or country.

"Things are going relatively well for him," said Heynckes. "He has started the rehabilitation phase and is building up muscle.

"We are confident, but I can't say when he will train with the team again."
