Andre Schurrle completes move to Borussia Dortmund from Wolfsburg for €30m

Andre Schurrle has signed for Borussia Dortmund from Wolfsburg for a reported €30m.
After months of negotiation the former Chelsea star, who had only been with Wolsburg for 18 months, finally signed for Thomas Tuchel’s team on a five-year contract.
The 25-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements by Blues boss Jose Mourinho but went on to score 13 goals with 10 assists after moving to Germany.
Despite a below-par Euro 2016, Dortmund moved to sign Schurrle despite Wolfsburg insisting he was not for sale earlier in the summer.
Fellow Germany international Mario Goetze rejoined Dortmund on Wednesday, signing a four-year deal following a disappointing spell at champions Bayern Munich.
"Andre Schurrle is a Germany international with exceptional attacking potential who is also a very assured passer of the ball and always carries out his defensive duties very well," said Dortmund's director of sport Michael Zorc on the Bundesliga club's website.
"Despite being only 25, he has a great deal of international experience. His quality will be very valuable to our team."
Schurrle, who has won 55 caps for Germany and was a part of their 2014 World Cup-winning squad, expressed his delight at joining "one of Europe's top clubs with a strong and extremely exciting squad."
He added: "I know from my own experience how much energy Dortmund gain from their own fans and I am really looking forward to being able to experience that no longer as an astonished opponent, but as part of it.
"In the coming years, I would like to be successful with Borussia Dortmund and I cannot wait to get started in training and convince people that it was right to sign me."
