Tottenham won the Carling Cup final against previous holders Chelsea 2-1 thanks to Jonathan Woodgate's header in extra-time at Wembley.

Woodgate met Jermaine Jenas's floated free-kick in the 94th minute to claim former Sevilla coach Juande Ramos's fourth major cup trophy in three seasons only months after arriving at the north London club.
The Blues took the lead late in the first half from Didier Drogba's curled free-kick before Dimitar Berbatov's calmly-taken penalty on 70 minutes.
The chance to level arrived courtesy of a handball by Chelsea left-back Wayne Bridge with the Stamford Bridge outfit in control of the match and Spurs struggling to make chances.
Ramos's men attacked Chelsea from the start and were given a helping hand for their first chance only seconds in when Juliano Belletti passed to an unoccupied area in the middle of the pitch.
Robbie Keane raced onto the ball and flew towards goal before striking a shot that returning Chelsea captain John Terry dived to block and divert just past the post for a corner.
The team in white enjoyed the ball for the first half-hour and struck the woodwork on nine minutes when Aaron Lennon's deep corner was headed back across goal by Pascal Chimbonda. The ball looped up and down onto the bar.
Seconds later another cross found Berbatov completely unmarked in the centre of the box, but the Bulgaria striker headed wide of the mark.
Malbranque was the next to go close to taking advantage of the possession, hitting a low shot that Petr Cech saved at the near post before a trio of free-kicks for Chelsea.
The first of these was taken by Frank Lampard - also back in favour, with Michael Ballack left on the sidelines - and blocked by Woodgate then Drogba took over for the next effort, curled half-a-foot wide of the post.
Minutes later Drogba had another chance from the same distance after Didier Zokora fouled him and earned a booking in the process.
The Ivory Coast striker left the recalled Paul Robinson standing with his shot, whipped low inside the post to stun the clamouring Spurs fans into silence.
The goal signalled the success of Avram Grant's seeming policy of nullifying Tottenham's pacy moves forward and earning greater territorial possession for the Blues.
Keane immediately found space in the penalty area at the other end but saw his shot blocked by Cech and Spurs went in at the break a goal down after Berbatov lost his footing late in the half, allowing the Czech 'keeper to gather.
The second half did not initially possess the same fluidity as the first as Chelsea's slick outfit, which had the threat of Joe Cole to come from the bench, again did their job well.
The first chance fell for them when Lampard tackled Jenas and the ball flew out to Drogba on the left, whose cross was just too high for the unmarked Shaun Wright-Phillips on the right and Nicolas Anelka could only direct the final header into Robinson's arms.
Ramos's knack for winning cup competitions looked set to desert him as time wore on and the frustration was exhibited for all to see when Chimbonda reacted badly to being substituted for Tom Huddlestone.
However minutes later it was the powerful midfielder that forced the penalty kick. Lennon sent a ball to the far side of the penalty area, where Huddlestone controlled on his chest then battled with Bridge, resulting in the left-back knocking the ball with his hand.
Once the protestations had died down Berbatov stepped up and, watching Cech move early, simply stroked the ball into the other corner.
At the other end Drogba forced his way into the box and was about to pull the trigger when King dashed across to block the shot.
Tottenham's fans sucked in their breath when Zokora was put clean through by Keane but faltered under the pressure; his shot was saved by Cech and when faced with only defenders between him and the goal on the rebound, blasted his shot wide of the near post.
They must have feared the worst at that moment, yet their side again went closest before the end of the 90 minutes, Berbatov turning and shooting with power to force an impressive save from Cech with his legs.
Four minutes into extra-time Spurs scored their winner. The battling Jenas fed a ball into the danger area right in the middle of the area and Cech was millimetres away from punching clear, allowing Woodgate to head over the line via a deflection off the goalkeeper and send half of the stadium crazy with joy.
Lampard hit a free-kick towards the near-post top corner from the left side of the box that Robinson stopped then after the turnaround substitute Salomon Kalou thundered in an effort on the turn that the 'keeper was equal to.
Joe Cole finally arrived yet could not put in a decent shot when the ball fell for him as Chelsea forced all 11 Spurs players back into their box, throwing in cross after cross.
The final chance was wasted by Belletti as he skied it high and wide with seconds left, although Kalou - as well as Terry and Drogba - felt aggrieved as the final whistle sounded as he went through on the left, subsequently striking the base of the far post.
