The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals is nearly upon us, with the final two spots in the draw set to be decided on Wednesday evening.
The last 16 saw Tottenham dumped out by Juventus, while fellow Premier League side Manchester United suffered the same fate against Sevilla.
Paris Saint-Germain’s mega riches failed to transfer to success on the pitch as defending champions Real Madrid cruised beyond them, leaving Ligue 1 without a representative in the last eight.
Anyway, here’s all the information you need about the draw!
When is the draw and how can I follow it?
The draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League is on Friday, March 16 at 11:00 (GMT). It will be streamed live on Eurosport 1 and right here on Eurosport.co.uk and through the mobile app.
Who is in the hat?
- Juventus
- Manchester City
- Liverpool
- Sevilla
- Real Madrid
- Roma
- Chelsea or Barcelona (1-1 agg after first leg)
- Bayern Munich or Besiktas (5-0 on agg after first leg)
Who can face who?
For the first time in the competition, it’s an open draw – meaning there are no seedings and teams from the same nation can draw each other. So we could see El Clasico (should Barca progress) and a Manchester derb… oh no, just El Clasico.
When will the matches be played?
First legs will take place on April 3/4, with the second legs coming on April 10/11.
