An Alex Sandro diving header and two quickfire goals from Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata on the stroke of half-time hand Juventus a 3-0 win over Malmo in their Champions League Group H opener. The comfortable victory against the Allsvenskan champions is Massimiliano Allegri’s first win as Juve boss since returning to the Serie A club in July.
GOOD SAVE! Olsson fires a low shot on goal, forcing Szczesny into a smart save low down to his left.

BIG SAVE! Kulusevski plays a wonderful backheel into the path of Kean who is in on goal, but his shot is straight at Diawara!

Olsson's cross into the box is caught by Szczesny and Juve attempt to counteer, but Nielsen snuffs out the danger and hoofs the ball into the stands.
Both sides want this game over with Malmo now knocking the ball around but doing little with it. Juventus. meanwhile, do not appear to be in any rush to get forward.

McKennie puts in a late tackle on Abubakari, but he gets away without a booking. SUB! Rieks is off for former Blackburn, Norwich and Swansea fullback Martin Olsson, now 33 years of age.
Abubakari curls a cross into the box but Szczesny punches clear.
OFFSIDE! Kean rounds Diawara and puts the ball into the net, but he was just offside.
SHOT! Dybala fires a vicious strike on goal from 20-yards out but Diawara, who has had a game, punches it clear!
SUBS! Allegri has gone to his bench. Kean comes on for Morata and Bentancur makes way for McKennie.
Christiansen's cross into the box is punched clear by Szczesny! Malmo are starting to give this a go now.
Danilo's cross into the box is headed away. Malmo have struggled to keep up with the pace of Juventus' attacks this evening.
Malmo are playing with greater purpose now after their two substituion. SAVE! Diawara does well to deny Morata his second of the night with a fine save to the goalkeeper's right-hand side!

Bentancur bursts forward on the break and lays the ball off to Cuadrado in space as he closes in on goal, but his pass is too powerful and goes out for a goal-kick.
Birmancevic pushes over Cuadrado and Juventus have a free-kick. Malmo are looking frustrated right now.
Rakip is down receiving some medical treatment after colliding with Locatelli. He is back on his feet now, but he looks set to be substituted.
Morata is furious with himself after he blasts a shot from a tight angle well over the bar.
Juventus are playing with greater confidence and will look to grind Malmo down in this half with a three goal cushion already secured.
OVER! Christiansen spins around and fires a shot on goal over the bar.
How will Malmo respond? It's a long way back from a three goal deficit and they will have to capitalise on any lapses of concentration from Juventus.

Well, after Juventus' shaky start they now find themselves three goals up thanks to an Alex Sandro header and two quickfire goals from Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata. Second half coming up!

ANOTHER GOAL!! Juventus have a third and it is Morata with it! A goal-kick comes down to Rabiot, he flicks the ball into the path of the Spaniard and he lofts the ball into the top corner off his shin! Just like that Juve are three up!

GOAL! Dybala fires his spot-kick straight down the middle and Juventus extend their lead on the stroke of half-time! The Serie A side look very comfortable now and Allegri looks to be on his way to his first win back as Juventus boss.
After a lengthy VAR check... the penalty stands! Dybala will take the penalty.

PENALTY TO JUVENTUS! Morata goes down in the box under a challenge from Nielsen and the Danish defender is booked for his troubles. BUT HANG ON... VAR is checking to see if Morata was offside.
Dybala tries to roll a ball into the path of Morata, but the Spaniard was clearly offside and Nielsen clears for Malmo.

YELLOW! For Brorsson for sticking his knee into the back of Dybala. No arguments there.
CHANCE! Morata and Locatelli play a neat one-two and the latter fires a shot on goal, but he fires wide! Malmo are leaving gaps at the back as they push for an equaliser.
Cuadrado's dangerous driven cross to the near post is cleared away by Nielsen and Juventus now have a corner. Cuadrado's set-piece comes to nothing.
CHANCE! A ball over the top finds Morata but Diawara comes out to close him down quickly enough and bats the ball away with both arms.
FREE-KICK! Bentancur commits a foul in Juventus' own half and Malmo have their sixth free-kick of the evening. From 40-yards out, Birmancevic goes for goal and it is not a bad strike, but the ambitious effort is comfortably wide.
BIG CHANCE! Sandro should have had a second hoal! A beautiful long ball to the left flank from Bonucci is chested down by the left-back ahead of Berget, but he stabs his effort agonisingly wide of Diawara's left post.
Rabiot has a left-footed strike from an angle around 35-yards out, but it flies over the bar.
Malmo started the game so well and will feel hard done by. Nevertheless, Juventus have shown to be defensively vulnerable already in this game and the Swedish champions can take confidence from that.

GOAL!! Sandro has found the net! Against the run of play Juventus lead! Cuadrado whips a ball into the near post which Bentancur flicks on into the path of the Brazilian at the far post, who directs his diving header into the back of the net!
The referee is giving Sandro a warning for a foul on Berget. Juventus do not look comfortable at all in these opening 20 minutes. They are not playing with any real rhythm right now.
Rakip floats a free-kick into the area but the ball is wasteful as it flies out for a goal-kick. Juventus are affording Malmo plenty of space in central areas.
CHANCE! Berget's cross is met by Rieks in the box and he fires a right-footed volley on goal, but it is just over the bar! A fine effort from the wingback!
Allegri is trying to fire up his players from the touchline and he is right to do so. Juventus have been flat so far and it is giving Malmo confidence in front of their vocal home support.
Juventus are beginning to play higher up the pitch but Malmo are holding firm for now. Morata works the ball into the box and spins his marker, but like Dybala moments ago he also strays offside.
Dybala fouls Colak and Malmo have a free-kick on the left flank which will be crossed into the box. Christiansen will take. The ball flown into the area evades everyone and goes out for a throw-in.
OFFSIDE! Cuadrado lofts a long ball over the top for Dybala who is in a one-on-one sitaution, but he slips as he goes to shoot off his left boot. The referee then blows for offside.
The set-piece comes to nothing as there is a foul in the box. Whether there really was a foul in there is debatable.
Malmo have had plenty of the ball which is perhaps surprising. Juve are looking to sit and paly on the counter-attack. Christiansen's cross into the area goes out for a corner.
Morata is caught on the halfway line by Rakip and Juventus have the first free-kick of the evening. It's already been an open start to the match with both sides keen to dictate the tempo early on.
Cuadrado's cross into the box is met by Bentancur, but he guides his header from the edge of the area over the bar.
Birmancevic fires an early shot on goal from aroudn 30-yards out which ends up going out for a throw. Malmo are pressing Juve high up the pitch and are up for this.

The formalities are out of the way and we have kicked off! Allegri is looking to win his 40th match in Champions League football tonight.
The teams are out on the pitch at Eleda Stadium and the Champions League anthem rings out under the Swedish night sky. Kick-off is just moments away!
Saturday night was not an enjoyable one for Juventus. A heavily-depleted Juve side went in front at Napoli but ultimately were beaten thanks to Kalidou Koulibaly's finish five minutes from time.
Juventus have just one point from their opening three Serie A fixtures of the 2021/22 season. Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Manchester United was meant to give Juve more freedom to address some issues, but that hasn't happened yet 👇
Tonight's referee is Artur Dias from Portugal. Interestingly the last European game he refereed he issued six yellow cards and two reds in a clash between Legia Warsaw and Slavia Prague in a Europa League play-off second leg tie on August 26.
It's already been quite the journey for Malmo. They have knocked out HJK Helsinki, Rangers and Ludogorets to reach this stage of the competition and is the first time the Allsvenskan champions have reached the Champions League group stages since 2015.
Malmo have injury problems to contend ahead of a big European night for the Allsvenskan club. Moisander and Lewicki miss out while number one goalkeeper Dahlin is on the bench this evening. Malmo look set to line up in a 5-3-2 formation.
Perhaps the most significant team news regarding Juventus this evening is Chiellini has been dropped to the bench with De Ligt taking his place. It looks like Juventus will be playing in a 4-4-2 formation with Morata partnering Dybala.
