Gabriel Jesus has explained to TNT Sports why scoring in the UEFA Champions League is not enough of an achievement for him. The Arsenal striker, who has 24 goals in 42 appearances in the European tournament, hit the back of the net during his team's 6-0 demolition of Lens at the Emirates. Jesus said his ambition was "not just scoring", but to win the Champions League.

Gabriel Jesus extended his impressive goalscoring record in Europe as Arsenal thrashed Lens 6-0 in the UEFA Champions League.
The Gunners qualified for the knockout stages as Group B winners with one match still to play.
Kai Havertz opened the scoring at the Emirates, with Jesus, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Martin Odegaard also hitting the back of the net in an electric first half.
Jorginho then scored a penalty in the dying minutes of the match to round off a highly successful evening for Mikel Arteta's side.
It was Jesus's 24th goal in the Champions League, scored across 42 appearances for both Manchester City and Arsenal, and the 26-year-old made clear his ambitions in the tournament when speaking to TNT Sports post-match.
"Champions League, I see many times," he said. "I watched a lot at home. Sometimes I missed school to watch, because I love football.
"Champions League is special, like the Premier League, but I already won the Premier League [at Man City].
"I want to win here [at Arsenal] obviously, but I want to win the Champions League as well. Not just scoring, but win."
Jesus hailed Arsenal’s "amazing" performance, praising the home support at the Emirates as well.
"When you start the game like we did, we score a lot of goals, then we’re winning," he said.
"Obviously, we want to continue, but sometimes it's just impossible because you get tired and the opponent tries to play with the ball.
"We stay less with the ball, so it's always difficult, but we didn’t concede a goal. We keep the clean sheet, that's good, and then we score in the last minutes."
Arsenal are top of Group B with 12 points and will be seeded for the knockout stages even if they lose to PSV on December 12.
Lens are third with five points and are out regardless of results in the final game, with PSV set to progress alongside Arsenal in Group B. They need a point against Sevilla in their final game to guarantee a spot in the Europa League.
