Manchester City became only the second Premier League side to win all six group games in the UEFA Champions League as a makeshift XI saw off Crvena Zvezda in the UEFA Champions League. Micah Hamilton, Oscar Bobb and Kalvin Phillips all scored their first senior goals for City on a productive night for Pep Guardiola's side, who head to the Club World Cup in Saudi Arabia next week.

Youngsters Micah Hamilton and Oscar Bobb both scored fantastic goals as Manchester City won 3-2 at Crvena Zvezda to secure a 100% record in Champions League Group G.
Playing his first game for the senior team, Hamilton received a pass from Matheus Nunes and turned a defender in the penalty area before firing over the goalkeeper's head from a tight angle.
The second came just after the hour mark when Bobb collected possession from Rico Lewis on the right flank and used the England international's run as a decoy before turning inside and slotting a shot just inside the far corner.
Crvena Zvezda got on the scoresheet through South Korean international Hwang In-beom who played a one-two with Osman Bukari before slotting home with 14 minutes remaining.
The victory was put beyond doubt when Hamilton was brought down in the area by Nasser Djiga and Kalvin Phillips slotted home the penalty to record his first goal for City.
The hosts scored again in injury time when Katai was unchallenged as he headed home Hwang's corner but City held out for victory.

Talking point - Great to see young City talent

It is very difficult to criticise Pep Guardiola's management of City, but maybe there have been times when in games of little consequence he could have given the players who have helped the club to win the last four Premier League U18 titles the chance to shine in first team games.
While Cole Palmer's talent has been fully realised with the opportunity at Chelsea it is clear he was not the only elite prospect in their ranks. Both Hamilton and Bobb showed an ability to play across the front line with Hamilton playing the first half on the right and second on the left, while Bobb moved from a central role to the right flank after the break. Teenage youngster Mahamadou Susosho also made his first appearance in the first team as a late substitute, although he found it more difficult to put an imprint on the game.

Player of the match - Oscar Bobb (Man City)

It was a paper thin margin between Bobb and Hamilton but the Norwegian international just gets the edge as while both were equally effective, he was in the game that little bit more. Both 20-year-olds showed they are capable of playing a part for City on the right flank if given a chance in the Premier League this term. In just his second City start, the first coming in an EFL Cup match defeat to Newcastle, Bobb looked so at ease in possession, beating players with ease and showing more than a likeness to former City man Leroy Sane.

Match highlights

19' GOAL! Crvena Zvevda 0-1 Man City (Hamilton): What a goal on his debut for Micah Hamilton. He fired the ball in from a tight angle above the goalkeeper in the right hand side of the area like Gabriel Batistuta's famous strike at Wembley against Arsenal.
62' GOAL! Crvena Zvevda 0-2 Man City (Bobb): And it's another wonderful one. He takes a pass from Lewis on the right flank and then uses the full-back's run as a decoy before turning inside a defender and calmly sliding a ball just inside the far post.
70' OFF THE POST! Mijatovic so close to pulling a goal back for the hosts. A lovely ball played into him from Bukari on the left and he takes it first time but just clips the outside of the near post.
76' GOAL! Crvena Zvevda 1-2 Man City (Hwang): City were sleeping after the substitution and Hwang played a ball into Bukari and kept on running, but was not tracked by Phillips and drove a low left-footed effort past Ortega.
84' PENALTY FOR CITY! And it is won by Hamilton. He was faced by two City defenders and he looks to go inbetween them both leading to Djiga hooking his arm and pulling his shorts.
85' GOAL! Crvena Zvevda 1-3 Man City (Phillips): Phillips stylishly sends the keeper the wrong way and kicks the ball into the inside-netting for his first City goal.
90' GOAL! Crvena Zvevda 2-3 Man City (Katai): Katai rises unchallenged to head home Hwang's corner. Probably just a consolation.
