The winger scored Rangers' goal in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth but limped off 10 minutes from the end and is doubtful.
Top scorer Charlie Austin returned as a late substitute at Dean Court following two months out with a shoulder injury and he will probably be on the bench again.
But defenders Aaron Hughes (hamstring) and Nedum Ohouha (calf) and midfielder Joey Barton (thigh) are set to miss out again along with long-term absentees Andy Johnson, Matty Phillips (both ankle) and Ale Faurlin (knee).
