Colombia international Juan Cuadrado has won the Latin American vote to feature alongside Lionel Messi on the cover of FIFA 16.
Cuadrado only made 13 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Fiorentina in the winter transfer window and was labelled a 'flop' by many at Stamford Bridge.
According to reports, the 27-year-old has requested a meeting with Blues officials to discuss his future following rumours linking him with Serie A giants Juventus.
Despite being out-of-favour in west London, his popularity hasn't wavered back home and ahead of the launch of the new FIFA 16 video game, Cuadrado beat the likes of Sergio Aguero and Edinson Cavani to feature alongside Messi on the cover:
Players nominated for the Latin America vote:
Juan Cuadrado—Chelsea (England)
Sergio Aguero—Manchester City (England)
Claudio Bravo—FC Barcelona (Spain)
Edinson Cavani—Paris Saint-Germain (France)
Jose Rondon—Zenit St. Petersburg (Russia)
Carlos Zambrano—Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany)
Colombia is the second biggest country in South America behind Brazil (204 million) with an estimated population of 48 million which may go someway to explaining why he triumphed in the vote.
