Northampton manager Chris Wilder has confirmed that he will offer professional deals to two youngsters at the club.
Sam Warburton and Danny Clifton, who have both graduated through the club's academy, will sign their first deals at the club after impressing in recent weeks.
Speaking to the club's official website, Wilder said: "We're delighted and hopefully it's a first step for them in terms of making a career in professional football.
"They've done well, whether in youth team games or behind-doors friendly games and when they've trained with the first team. We want there to be an opportunity for young players."
He added: "The hard work continues (for the players), they've got to keep impressing and keep earning contracts and that's what good players do."
