Julio Cruz will start what is likely to be his last game for the club up front alongside Obafemi Martins while Giuseppe Favalli comes in at the back to cover for Javier Zanetti, also on Confederations Cup duty.

Roma have opted to leave top scorer Vincenzo Montella on the bench, Bruno Conti going with Antonio Cassano and Francesco Totti up front.
