Erling Haaland has enjoyed a spectacular debut season with Manchester City and has the chance to end it by firing the club to a historic treble. The Norwegian has netted 58 goals for Pep Guardiola's side to help them retain the Premier League and reach the finals of the FA Cup and the Champions League. Haaland said 'this is why they bought me' ahead of a huge week for the club.

Erling Haaland says winning a historic Treble is “why Manchester City bought me”, as the Norwegian looks to complete a dream debut season with two more trophies.
City signed Haaland from Borussia Dortmund last summer and his maiden campaign in English football has been a resounding success.
The Norway international has scored 58 goals in 57 games in all competitions to fire his new club to the Premier League title, as well as FA Cup and Champions League finals.
Pep Guardiola’s side face Manchester United at Wembley on Saturday for the domestic prize, before facing Inter Milan in Istanbul for the chance to become European champions for the first time on June 10.
"This is why they bought me of course, to get this, we don't have to hide that,” Haaland told BBC Sport.
"It would mean everything. I will do everything I possibly can to try to make it happen. It's my biggest dream and hopefully dreams do come true."
Should City win both finals, they will become the first English side since Sir Alex Ferguson's United in 1999 to complete a league, FA Cup and Champions League treble.
"It would be unreal to make this history," Haaland said.
"It's not easy - it's two finals against two good teams that will do everything they can to try to destroy that,” he added.
"They will be motivated, they will be ready and we have to play at our best, because if we play at our best we have a really good chance of achieving exactly that."
Haaland’s haul of 37 Premier League goals marked a new single-season record, helping the Citizens to overhaul Arsenal and defend their title.
The 22-year-old is now a household name and spoke about the fame that comes with his success.
"My life has changed of course, I can't live so normally any more. That's how my life is, I can't complain,” Haaland said.
"I try to enjoy every single moment of it and that's how it is.
"I'm 196cm tall and have got long blonde hair so wherever I go people are going to see me. So that's how my life is. What can I do?
"There's nothing I can do, that's my life. I just have to try to enjoy it as much as I can. Try to relax when I'm home with good people around me, that's really important. Just try to enjoy my life."
