Croatia's Luka Modric scores one of the finest goals of his career as he ran to meet a cleared ball in the Euro 2016 match against Turkey, and lashed in a volley from several yards outside the box. Turkey goalkeeper Volkan Babacan appeared to have been slightly unsighted, but such was the power of the strike it's hard to say if anything could have stopped it.
Tense opening in Paris
With rain lashing down, both sides attempted to keep things right as the match went on, with Croatia's Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric being closed down constantly by a well-drilled Turkey side.
