Having left Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney, Gary Cahill, Michael Carrick and James Milner at home, Hodgson made eight changes to the side that had beaten Estonia 2-0 on Friday.

Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland made his first competitive start for the senior side while Phil Jagielka wore the captain's armband.
Despite the relative upheaval, England made light work of their opponents to the delight of Hodgson.
"This is an achievement. I am very proud of the players' performances. I thought it was excellent, in the first half especially,” said Hodgson in his post-match interview.
How far will England progress at Euro 2016 next summer?
“There was a lot of hard work put in and the quality of play was very good - 10 wins out of 10 is very satisfying. We've got to take a lot of pride in that.

"We have used a lot of players in the qualifiers due to injury, so everyone who was part of this group has contributed. The players who represented us tonight did a terrific job and they have got to feel they have strengthened their chances of being considered for France."
"I can't fault anyone tonight: a good performance, dominant, and a nice way to end the qualifying campaign.
Hodgson did make reference to the calibre of opposition in Group E and looked forward to testing his players against stronger teams in the coming months.
"We will use the upcoming friendlies to learn and to see where we are. If we concentrate and play properly we can do well. It would have been a surprise if we had not qualified. But the upcoming friendlies are against better, stronger opposition sides. We'll see how we deal with that."
England make a trip to Spain on November 13 before taking on Euro 2016 hosts France on November 17.
