‘Liquid football!’ - Fans rave over England’s stunning opening goal

After the highs of the World Cup the pressure was always going to be on Gareth Southgate to keep the England team riding the wave.
He did that superbly in the Nations League and he got off to the perfect start in Euro 2020 qualifying when his front three combined beautifully for the opening goal.
Checking his peripherals when receiving a pass captain Harry Kane turned and played a delightful round-the-corner pass to Jadon Sancho.
The teenager then squared the ball perfectly at the back post for Raheem Sterling to tap in.
It was a move consisting of 25 passes, with ten England players touching the ball.
Liquid.
