'Proud' Arteta says Arsenal victory over City 'sends a message'

The FA has confirmed that Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will not play for England against Australia and Italy as he recovers from injury.
The forward attended St George’s Park on Monday after being called up by Gareth Southgate for the international break.
However the 22-year-old missed Arsenal’s win against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday due to injury after limping off against Lens in their midweek Champions League defeat in France.
“Saka was assessed by the England medical team and it was decided the player would continue his rehabilitation at his club," said an FA statement.
“No replacements are planned with Gareth Southgate having a squad of 25 players to work with.”
England manager Southgate will have Manchester City pair Jack Grealish and Phil Foden and Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford as his options on the left wing.
Saka has played 10 games for Arsenal this season, scoring five goals.
England’s first game of the international break is on Friday, October 13, when they play a friendly against Australia at Wembley Stadium.
They then host Italy in a Euro 2024 qualifier on Tuesday, October 17, where a win would extend their six-point lead over the Azzurri at the top of Group C.
