The governing body’s disciplinary panel judge the charges for both teams on July 21.
The violence broke out in poorly segregated areas of St Jakob Park in Basel, where Liverpool went on to lose 3-1.
The Spanish club also faces charges over their fans "throwing objects" after plastic bottles were seen to be hurled at Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge after he scored during the match.
