West Ham currently top their UEFA Europa League Group A table after winning two and losing one of their first three games. That defeat came at Olympiacos on October 26 and they will play the Greek side at home this Thursday, live on TNT Sports. Joe Cole gave his view on the club's summer signings, with the likes of Mohammed Kudus and James Ward-Prowse meriting mentions.

'He's going to be a top player' - Cole on West Ham's best signing and European hopes

Joe Cole believes that Mohammed Kudus is the standout player among West Ham’s summer signings, giving his view that he will be a "top player".
Kudus has sparked huge appreciation from the West Ham fanbase to date, with one supporter even travelling to Ghana to watch the 23-year-old in action for his country.
Kudus was signed in the summer by David Moyes, with a reported fee of £38 million enough to prise him away from Ajax.
He has eight goals in 16 total appearances for his new side already, a healthy return for a wide player in a club that sits in 11th spot in the Premier League.
He is likely to feature in the vital UEFA Europa League match against Olympiacos at the London Stadium this Thursday, shown live on TNT Sports.
Former West Ham playmaker Cole is not only impressed by Kudus though, as he picked out two other signings for praise.
Speaking to fellow TNT Sports expert Jermaine Jenas, Cole said of The Hammers' recruitment: “That’s what the club have done really well.
"[James] Ward-Prowse has been brilliant. I’ve always known he was a good player but it’s not until you watch him week in, week out, you see exactly what he brings.
“[Edson] Alvarez has been fantastic, he’s bedded in [since joining from Ajax] but gets around the pitch, he's a good midfielder.”
He then moved onto to Kudus, and suggested the Ghanaian has the potential to kick on further.
“Kudus is the one to look for though, that kid, man,” he added. “He was at Ajax, and you look at Antony who was at Ajax, but not really settled into the Premier League.
But Kudus, because of the power in him, he was never going to have a problem translating from the Eredivisie into the Premier League.
"He's going to be a top player, he's my one."
